Activities of Membership

Members of TEAA perform many important roles in support of Technology Education. Activities of the Alumni include:

• Recruitment of corporate sponsors
• Competitive events judges
• Serving as resource personnel
• Chaperones
• TSA special events coordinators
• Advisors
• General support personnel

Eligibility & Types of Membership

Active membership in the Technology Education Alumni Association of Virginia is open to any individual who was enrolled in a Technology Education course during his or her K-16 education. The title “Regular Member” shall be granted to individuals with an Active membership. An associate membership is also available.

"Associate Members" are those persons who did not have the benefit of or opportunity to participate in the Technology Education/Industrial Arts curriculum but still have an interest in technology education. Associate membership in the Technology Education Alumni Association of Virginia shall also be granted to individuals who are engaged in career fields that contribute to the intent of the Technology Education Alumni Association of Virginia.
